This policy explains how Tab66plus.com chooses topics, checks facts, handles claims we cannot verify and fixes mistakes. It applies to every page on the site, in every language.
Purpose of the site
Tab66plus.com is an information and affiliate site about online pokies, casino games and sports betting. Our job is to help adult readers understand how products work, what to check before using a service and where to get help. It is not a recommendation to gamble.
What we publish
- Explanations of how games and betting work, in plain language.
- Guides to checking a licence, reading terms and spotting scams.
- Overviews of the law in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, based on public sources.
- Pages on individual brands and apps that say what is publicly reported and what we could not verify.
Sources we use
We prefer primary sources, in this order: the regulator or the text of the law; official public registers; public reports from established news organisations; and the operator’s own pages. We treat an operator’s own marketing as a claim to be checked, not as proof. Our legal pages link to the sources they rely on, such as the ACMA page on the Interactive Gambling Act.
How we handle claims
- Verified: we state it and say where it comes from.
- Reported: we attribute it to the source and say it is reported, not confirmed.
- Not verified: we say we could not verify it and do not repeat it as fact.
The most common items we cannot verify are the operating company, the licence number and regulator, bonus terms, payout rates and withdrawal times. We never invent them.
What we will not publish
- Unverified licence, ownership, bonus, payout or withdrawal claims.
- Rankings, scores or “best” lists of gambling sites.
- Claims that gambling is a way to earn money, or content aimed at people under 18.
- Links to files or apps that we know come from an unofficial source.
How we update pages
We review pages when the law changes, when a reader reports a problem or when we find a better source. Pages show the date they were last modified, and the facts-and-verification pages, such as Tab66 facts and verification notes, show the date they were checked.
Corrections policy
If you think something on the site is wrong, contact us at contact@tab66plus.com or through the contact page. Please include the page address, what is wrong and a source if you have one. We check the report against primary sources, correct confirmed errors and, where the change is important, say on the page what was changed. We do not accept payment to change, add or remove content.
Affiliate links and independence
We earn a commission if you register with a service through links to tab66aud.com. The links are marked as sponsored. Commission does not change what we write about checks, risks or facts we could not verify. Because rules on gambling advertising and affiliate commissions are changing, we link to the regulator’s own explanation and encourage readers to read it.
Gambling content standards
Everything we publish is for adults aged 18 or over. We include responsible-gambling information, we do not use inducements or pressure to deposit, and we do not suggest that anyone gamble with money they cannot afford to lose. See responsible gambling.
Languages
Some pages are written in Malay for readers who search in that language. They follow the same rules as the English pages, and each notes what we could not verify.

Our review process in detail
- Topic and brief. We decide what question the page answers, such as “what does this name refer to” or “how do I check a licence”, and which sources we need.
- Source collection. We gather the regulator page, the law’s text or an official register first, and only then public reports and the operator’s own page.
- Drafting. We write only what the sources support and we mark anything unconfirmed as not verified.
- Compliance check. We confirm that the page has the 18+ notice and help information, and that it contains no inducement, earnings claim or unverified licence, bonus or payout claim.
- Quality check. We check spelling and grammar, check every link and check that the page does not copy other sites.
- Publish and review. We publish, then review the page when the law or the facts change or when a reader reports a problem.
How we word things
We use the same patterns throughout the site so readers know what a sentence means. “ACMA states that…” means we are quoting a regulator’s own page. “Was reported to have held…” means the item comes from a news report and we have not seen the primary document. “We could not verify…” means we looked for a primary source and did not find one, so we do not state the fact. A page that says nothing about a point, such as a bonus, means we do not know it, not that it does not exist.
Scam and look-alike pages
Searches for logins, apps and downloads often lead to copies and unofficial files. We do not link to files from unknown sources. Instead we explain how to reach the operator’s own site, how to check the address and what to look for before you install or sign in. See Tab66 login and password safety and Tab66 app and download safety.
How readers can help
You can help us keep the site accurate by telling us about errors, broken links and out-of-date laws, and by sending a source when you can. Use the contact page.
